Other Items of Interest
My teaching experience before Stevens includes undergraduate level courses in elctromagnetric theory and optics, thermodynamics and statistical physics, and numerical methods as well as graduate level courses in atmospheric radiation, radative transfer, and statistical mechanics. Here at Stevens I taught PEP 555 Statistical Physics in Fall 1999, and I am scheduled to teach PEP 667 Statistical Mechanics, and PEP 575 Fundamentals of Atmospheric Radiation and Climate (new course) in Spring 2000. I have successfully mentored many graduate students (including 9 Ph. D. graduates). I am interested in taking on new graduate students at Stevens.
